Benchmarks Preceeding One's Imminent Demise, Part II

today, my dear uncle Greggory DeForrest Caddingham celebrates the day of his birth.

his son, my cousin, Nichol Caddingham anxiously awaits the day when he is the preeminent Mr. Caddingham; he shall own Lake Park.

then, like his father, Nichol Caddingham's duties will primarily involve the maintenance of the estate's many fountains and the arrangement of his daughter's marriage to a man deeply "engaged in his employment" who plays billiards decently and knows the value of a cigar.

Shannon Meadow. a beautiful, if fractious, feature of our property.
