Cranford

rarely do I concern myself with culture exhibiting any approximation of widespread appeal. however, in the rare case when art (even in the form of a remarkably vulgar media) imitates life with such fidelity, I must acknowledge the achievement.

"Cranford" is, in a word, resplendent.
