I am away south to seek my fortune. inexhaustible though the Caddingham estate is, how rewarding it might feel to claim some measure of it as my own--no matter how small may be that contribution. hopefully it is a fleeting impulse but America has evoked in me a desire to accomplish something through my own talents and exertions. still, and despite my relocation, I've no intention to allow my disposition to be further altered.
